An investigation on activating an environment, or, in relation to my work, negotiating for a loss or change. I wanted to create an area that serves as a meditative space, but is dependent on the audience for its function. My environment was one that has suffered the loss and deterioration of time, and contained circles constructed from cardstock, each ranging in size from 1" to 7", with the ability to move freely with outside forces such as wind, etc-creating a visual and auditory experience.

Ultimately an examination is created with the internal consciousness of the viewer and their reaction to the dialect between two separate entities: the hanging, fragile, unfamiliar structures and the existing, familiar, eternal space around it. When the viewers' internal conscious is included, the three entities exist as a silent language that raises an awareness that the work contains an interactive dialect, most importantly, a silent dialogue. Visually, a tensely beautiful dynamic is created, with a fragile intervention, capturing the audience's attention.
